Sugandha Dubey rolls out Stock Image Bank

Campaign India Team, 01 December, 2009, New Delhi

Sugandha Dubey, former business and content head, North India, Getty Images has launched an entrepreneurial venture called Stock Image Bank. The online image bank is now available under the brand name www.stockimagebank.com. The images on the site can be searched via keyword search option as well as categories dropdown for an easy search.
“We at Stock Image Bank are currently focusing only on creative Indian imagery which is the need of the hour. There are unlimited options available to the smart Indian clients in both micro and macro stock of western origin. The glitch is Indian content, and that is where we will have our edge,” explained Dubey. “Our USP lies in giving full size images that have not been interpolated. We charge our client on usage and not size which means even if your usage is small we will not compromise on the quality of the images we will provide. We are pumping in close to 10,000 images a month. I am quite optimistic about bringing about the shift in the way images have been seen till now!”

Stock Image Bank, being an independent producer and distributor of contemporary stock photography, works closely with photographers. “We are very selective about the type of work we create or choose to take on. We believe in producing well researched, trend analyzed content keeping all types of consumers in mind,” added Dubey.

The content is divided into creative and wildlife categories. Stock Image Bank images have already been used by major agencies such as JWT, O&M, Publicis and Mudra.
